RELATIONSHIPS - During the '80's I was like many people in their twenties/early thirties - wondering when or if I'd ever meet
my perfect partner, the woman of my dreams, the girl I'd settle down with. In September 1987, I attended a weekend Seminar
- Prosperity & Goal-Setting - given by Texan, John Paul Collard, in Cork. During this weekend, I learned a lot about how
relationships 'work,' why they don't, and how I could improve my experiences in this important area of my life.
That
weekend, John Paul got each of us attendees to write out a detailed profile of our ideal partner. Mine came to some 45 points!
Twelve months later, however, I was still un-attatched and lonely. John Paul came back to Cork, and delivered the same
Seminar. I told him of my experiences re my ideal partner. His reply shocked me - he said that my list wasn't specific enough!!
So,
I sat down that weekend in September 1988, and created a 75-point profile of my ideal mate. 13 months later, I met a woman
whom I married in July 1990. The following year, I came across that list. To my amazement - and delight - my wife had exactly
matched 74 of the 74 attributes which I had wanted in my future wife!!!
John Paul had told us that this was possible, and
within the grasp of each one of us.
I had proved him to be so right. I am now delivering this same Relationships Training
Workshop in Ireland (I take a while to get going! - John Paul had suggested to me back in 1991 that I deliver this very same
Workshop in Ireland; I just didn't have the courage or belief in myself at the time to act on his encouragement). Now I Do!
